How do we select appropriate materials?
We always put our client’s requirements first.
Geography, local climate, site accessibility, sustainability and energy efficiency will all influence the choice of materials.
The first step is to discuss your requirements and assess the site. We will then discuss design and finishes with a view to completion within four months.
Every build is different, but typically a build could use:
- Steel: hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanised steel, light-gauge steel, lightweight cement etc.
- Highly energy efficient materials: Rockwool or glass wool insulation, green insulation choices, etc.
Our choice of materials will ensure optimum results:
- Weatherproof and damp-proof, even in extreme conditions
- Can be designed for earthquake resistance
